little kitten basket. want the pattern?

stitch up this little kitten basket as follows ♥

materials:
2 skeins debbie bliss donegal tweed aran
i held it doubled and used size 15 circular needles.

cast on 27 stitches and join in the round.
next round: *K1, INC1* all the way around.
knit for 4 inches.
then *K1, K2tog* continuously for
the next several rounds until 7 stitches remain,
thread yarn through remaining stitches.
break yarn.

handle:
with yarn held doubled cast on 12 stitches
knit 2 rows and then bind off.
stitch to basket cattywompus
(which means twisted)
and then FELT IT and add a tiny kitten!
ps.
this kitten will have to be 4 inches
long because this basket is TINY!
